We like to keep everyone in the loop on what’s new here at SiteScout, and since this is just a quick update, let’s just dive right into it.
Demographic Targeting Enhancements
Since the launch of our Demographic Targeting feature back in December, we have significantly increased our reach across all of our exchange partners. Furthermore, we’ve made significant improvements to our cookie-matching process, which has resulted in even greater reach and volume. If you tested out Demographic Targeting over the last 2 months and weren’t seeing much volume with it, we highly recommend trying it out again. In addition to these enhancements, we will be announcing additional data segments from multiple data sources over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
Optimization Webinar Reminder
In case you haven’t heard yet, we have an RTB Webinar scheduled for 2:00 p.m. EST tomorrow, hosted by our own Matt Sauls. The topic of the webinar will be Campaign Optimization, and we’ll be using several real-world campaigns as examples of how to optimize display campaigns on the SiteScout RTB platform. You won’t want to miss this webinar, but in case you do, we should have a recording uploaded to the blog at some point on Wednesday. If you still haven’t registered to attend, you can do so here. New Article: RTB Essentials
Late last week we also published an educational article explaining some of the economics behind real-time bidding (RTB), which many people ask us about. Our designers created a very insightful graphic to accompany the content of the article to help explain how the bidding process works, and how bid price and frequency caps affect session depth and impression volume in an RTB environment. It’s somewhat technical but very insightful. Expect more of these types of articles in the near future.
